Similarly, phrases and sentences are crafted to incorporate early-developing sounds surrounding the target clusters—examples include “white floppy hat,” which emphasizes the /fl-/ cluster amidst surrounding sounds like /w t p h/, and “We took a flight to Maine,” providing contextual facilitation.
